Delivery, privacy and refunds
What to expect when you order.
Delivery
Letters are mailed through USPS to the address you approve at checkout. Postage is included in the price you see. We check addresses with USPS, which catches most typos, but it can’t guarantee delivery on their end.
Your letter is private
Your letter, both addresses and the print files are visible only to you and the people who write and mail your order. They are never used as samples, examples or marketing.
Payment
Stripe handles the card. We keep the order and a payment reference, never your card number.
Visit analytics
We privately measure loaded pages, referral sites, campaign labels, screen-size categories, visible and active time, scroll depth, selected link and button clicks, page-load speed, and progress or failed attempts toward checkout. We use aggregate reports to improve the site, not to identify or profile you. A random visit identifier stays in this browser tab and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Analytics records are kept for up to 30 days; they do not include your letter, form contents, email, addresses, payment details, full URLs, recordings or fingerprints. These visit analytics stay with us. There are no analytics cookies or advertising pixels. The site still uses its necessary security and account cookies. We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals.
Optional ad measurement
When available, an unchecked option at checkout lets you share a confirmed purchase with Meta to measure a Facebook ad. Only the purchase time, total and currency, a random event ID, the ad-click ID and browser type are sent, along with our public create-page URL. Meta may match the ad-click ID to your Facebook activity. We never send letter text, names, email addresses, mailing addresses or payment-card details. You can buy without agreeing. The ad-click ID stays only in page memory for up to 30 minutes before checkout, not in a cookie or browser storage; a full reload clears it. If you agree, the server keeps encrypted attribution for delivery retries for at most seven days, clearing it after successful delivery. Delivery status and your consent record are kept for up to 30 days. Uncheck the option before opening payment to decline; browser privacy signals and the analytics opt-out also prevent collection. Once information has been sent, unchecking cannot recall it from Meta. See Meta's privacy policy.
Changes and refunds
Email orders@theprintingguys.com with your order number. If writing hasn’t started, contact us about cancelling and replacing the order. Approved letters cannot be edited after payment. Once it’s written or mailed we’ll tell you what’s possible.
Privacy requests
Contact the same address to request access to or deletion of your information. We verify your identity first. Some payment and order records may need to be retained; we will explain what can be removed and what must be kept.
